‘saruhashi’ is the musical project of the half Japanese/Taiwanese artist Rian Chuang. Playing the drums and piano since he was 4, Rian was born and raised in London currently ongoing his studies in the heart of the city. Rian blends his asian heritage with dream-pop creating soft, textured sounds. With a huge fascination for audio engineering, Rian spends a lot of time in the studio refining and controlling his craft creating the sound of ‘saruhashi’. If he isn’t making music he’s often playing his instruments or playing with his 2 cats.
